Rinda, the recent Lady of Raldia, and the people of her holding have finally recovered from a decimating but victorious battle with the covetous Mages of Navora. Now, the village is besieged by strange and elusive creatures, their food supply is running short, and it is near winter in their harsh northern clime. In a desperate attempt to save her people, Rinda seeks the dragon which dwells in the nearby mountain, only to find out the Mages of Navora will be returning all too soon. As she prepares the keep and her citizens for their return, she finds her familial magical traits blossoming and is joined by several unexpected companions for the looming battle.
